Turkish military officials said on Monday that they have lost contact with one of their F-16 fighter jets near Osmaniye, about 50 km from the boarder with Syria. Initially reported by the Arabian famous English news TV, Al Arabiya. NTV has know reported Turkish military officials as saying that the fighter jet was crashed accidentally and the pilot has already contacted them about a possible ejection.
Last June the Syrian Military had shot down a Turkish F-4 fighter jet inside Syrian air space. However the Turkish government had rejected the statement saying the plane was shot within the international air space. The relation between Turkey and Syria are deteriorating continuously since the Turkish government started open support to the rebels frightening against Syria. Turkish officials have also raised their suspicion of the involvement of Syrian secret services in Sunday's bombing in the Turkish city of Hatay, which killed about 45 people. Syria however has rejected the allegation in a statement on Monday.
